Performance

Performances may take a wide range of forms including:

  • Oral presentations
  • Readings
  • Dramatic presentations (e.g., enactment of skits, scenes, improvisation)
  • Movement sequences
  • Dances
  • Demonstration
  • Recital (vocal or instrumental)

In general, a performance must lend itself to being administered, recorded (through audio- or videotape) and transmitted for purposes of more centralized, off-site scoring.   However, in some instances, trained raters may also be on-site to make evaluative judgments.
